The Avon Parent Partnership Committee is currently seeking new members for the following schools:  Cedar, Hickory, Maple, Pine Tree, River Birch, Sycamore,  White Oak, and AMS North.

APPC - The Avon Parent Partnership Committee gives a voice to parents about academics in the Avon Community School system and provides communication for the parents with the school administration.  Each school has two members who serve on the committee for a two year term.  The meetings are held on the 1st Monday evening of the month from October to May (no meetings are held in January and April) and begin at 6:30 pm and end at 8:00 pm sharp.  If you are interested in serving on the APPC, you may find applications at the front office of each school or on the school website under the parent tab on the main page of the Avon Community School Corporation website (www.avon-schools.org).  Completed applications must be returned to the front office of your child's school to the attention of Sophie Lazaro by Friday, September 17th (click here for application).  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Sophie, APPC Chairperson, at 273-8385.  Thank you.
